Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Contract Logistics Operations Team Lead manages receiving, storing, picking, packing, verification, shipping, and other tasks to ensure efficient distribution center operations. The Team Lead directs and trains employees to maintain safe, accurate procedures. Responsibilities include assigning tasks, guiding staff, conducting audits, resolving issues, and ensuring safety compliance. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 3:30 pm to midnight, paid weekly at $21.25 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilize manual or powered material handling equipment to efficiently unload incoming materials from trailers as required
- Confirm and record materials into inventory by accurately scanning them into the designated computer system
- Confirm that all necessary inbound and outbound paperwork is completed with drivers, verifying accurate product counts
- Utilize material handling equipment to efficiently transport and store materials within the warehouse. Scan materials when relocating them from the original location to the new designated area
- Verify orders against the documented list, identify any shortages, and follow up to locate missing items or resolve incomplete orders
- Maintain the accuracy of inventory records and provide support for physical inventory counts as instructed
- Oversee and organize the efficient unloading of incoming shipments
- Demonstrates strong communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities
- Offers clear direction and support to team members by addressing inquiries related to any work-related matters
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is required
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role
- Must demonstrate attention to detail, thoroughness, and accuracy
- Must be a US citizen
- Capacity to effectively analyze and resolve challenges
- Capability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks independently with minimal oversight
- Capability to deliver training to less experienced material handlers and warehouse associates
- Ability to perform tasks through computer operating systems
- Proficient in operating power-driven machinery
- Capability to lift weights up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to wear the required safety shoes while on duty
