Essential Duties And Functions
- Optimize space utilization by strategically rearranging, organizing, and consolidating products or materials
- Manage cardboard boxes and various materials, especially within waste-in/waste-out processes, to ensure they are properly prepared for disposal or recycling
- Ensure exceptional inventory accuracy by meticulously verifying, organizing, and scanning materials
- Support the selection and staging of outbound shipments to ensure they meet established quality and productivity benchmarks
- Adhere to all safety guidelines (OSHA, MSDS), maintain a clean, orderly work area, and ensure the security of the warehouse
- Utilize material handling equipment Material Handling Equipment to move, load, and unload materials
- Ensure that inventory at storage locations and outbound shipments are accurate and free from damage
- Capable of walking and standing for up to 8 hours daily during processing shifts
- Aggregate orders based on customer, carrier, and shipping date
- Confirm the accuracy of part numbers, quantities, and accompanying documentation
- Ensure all items are correctly packaged, clearly labeled, and securely palletized
- Report any discrepancies or shortages promptly to supervisors and team members to ensure timely resolution
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
- Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Demonstrated fundamental proficiency in mathematics equivalent to a high school level
- Applicants must hold US citizenship
- Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is highly valued
- Proficiency with RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is preferred but not mandatory
- Capability to undertake physical activities, such as lifting and maintaining a standing position for extended durations
- Capability to operate effectively in a warehouse environment without temperature regulation
- Willingness to work during weekends and overtime hours
