The Air Export Gateway Agent is responsible for timely, cost effective movement of air export freight managed by the Air Export Gateway department as directed by the Supervisor and/or Manager. The position is responsible for processing of MAWB consolidations, set trade-lanes encompassing all aspects of the ATA process. Operational experience in the airfreight industry including but not limited to prior experience with warehousing/ airline/ GHA/ freight forwarder Air Export Gateway operations.

- Provide excellent customer service and on-going commitment to quality and data integrity
- Prepare, handle and process documentation needed for air export consolidations
- Interact and collaborate closely with the air export departments in the region
- Arrange bookings with carriers; optimize cargo consolidations
- Ensure timely processing and delivery to the airport; constant communication with the warehouse team and truck dispatch during the consolidation process
- Track & trace shipments; monitor vendor performance; address and resolve service irregularities
- Contribute to maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal customers
- Maintain compliance standards at all times, including internal policies and procedures, external government regulations and customer requirements
- Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) to support department, branch, product and company goals
- Responsible for daily updating and monitoring of reporting tools
- Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency
- Support pricing team on rate quotes
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); communicates clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
