Kudzu Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Inventory Associate to fill an opening with a well-established, family-owned plumbing company located in Lexington, SC. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of warehouse experience, strong inventory management skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while supporting plumbing technicians with materials and equipment.
Requirements of the Warehouse Associate
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years of warehouse experience (Required)
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record for the past 5 years
- Reliable transportation
- Experience with inventory management and stock control
- Knowledge of plumbing parts, fittings, and tools is highly preferred
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Gmail, and internet applications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift, carry, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, crawl, and perform physical labor throughout the workday
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Associate
- Receive, unload, inspect, and stock incoming plumbing inventory
- Pull and prepare plumbing materials, fittings, and supplies for field technicians
- Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels
- Perform inventory counts and assist with warehouse audits
- Organize warehouse shelving and maintain a clean, efficient workspace
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely move plumbing supplies, including pipes, fittings, and water heaters
- Coordinate with suppliers to place orders and verify deliveries
- Ensure field technicians have the necessary materials and equipment for daily jobs
- Maintain warehouse and yard organization while following all company safety procedures
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Work closely with warehouse staff, vendors, and plumbing technicians to ensure smooth daily operations
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
