About the Role
The Senior IT Business / Functional Analyst partners closely with business teams to understand end‑to‑end processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver practical, scalable solutions across ERP and other enterprise systems. This role blends business process expertise, functional ERP knowledge, and foundational Business Intelligence understanding to drive continuous improvement and support small to mid‑size initiatives from concept through delivery.
The ideal candidate is proactive, self‑directed, and consistently seeks ways to improve processes, systems, and data without waiting for assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes and document end‑to‑end workflows.
- Identify improvement opportunities and recommend process, system, or reporting solutions.
- Translate requirements into functional specs, process flows, and solution designs.
- Lead or support solution delivery, including configuration support, UAT, deployment, and stabilization.
- Serve as ERP functional SME and coordinate across IT, BI, vendors, and business teams.
- Define reporting and data needs with BI teams; interpret data to support decisions.
- Manage small to mid‑size initiatives, including scope, timelines, risks, and communication.
- Create documentation (process maps, SOPs, requirements).
- Deliver training and facilitate BPI sessions; collaborate with global teams.
- Proactively drive continuous improvement across processes and systems.
Qualifications
- 10 years as a Business or Functional Analyst in an ERP‑centric manufacturing/distribution environment.
- Strong understanding of ERP‑supported business processes and BI concepts (data warehouse, KPIs, reporting).
- Proven experience delivering process, system, and reporting improvements end‑to‑end.
- Ability to leverage Agentic AI, RPA, and modern technologies to improve efficiency.
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills; able to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Highly organized, proactive, and effective at managing timelines and risks.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and professionalism in challenging situations.
- Excellent written and verbal English.
