Essential Responsibilities
Laundry Operations
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, and bedding
- Operate washers, dryers, ironers, and folding equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor laundry chemicals and report equipment issues or maintenance concerns
- Inspect linens for stains, tears, and damage and remove items that do not meet quality standards
- Maintain proper linen inventory levels and assist with organization of storage areas
- Ensure laundry carts and linen areas remain clean, stocked, and organized
Housekeeping Support
- Deliver clean linens and supplies to housekeeping staff as needed
- Assist with stocking housekeeping closets and supply areas
- Support housekeeping and public area teams during high-volume periods
- Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally
Safety & Cleanliness
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry room and surrounding work areas
- Follow all OSHA, safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures
- Follow all Marriott and Soartress Hospitality brand standards and company policies
- Promote a positive, professional, and guest-focused atmosphere at all times
Qualifications
- Previous hotel laundry, housekeeping, or hospitality experience preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 25 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout scheduled shifts
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
