Job Summary
We are a leading medical equipment supplier seeking a skilled Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for the on-site installation, preventative maintenance, calibration, and repair of medical equipment at our clients' healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure our equipment operates safely and accurately to support patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and safety inspections on medical devices.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical systems.
- Install and configure new medical equipment at customer locations.
- Complete and maintain accurate service reports and documentation in a database (CMMS).
- Respond to on-call service requests and travel to customer sites as needed.
- Maintain compliance with all hospital credentialing, safety, and infection control policies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Associate degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred. A High School diploma with equivalent military training or experience is accepted.
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience servicing technical or medical equipment is preferred (entry-level candidates may be considered).
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of electronics, basic hand tools, soldering, and reading schematics.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50–70 lbs, with frequent bending, stooping, and pushing/pulling.
- Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass a background check/vaccination requirements
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
