KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet guests and provide outstanding customer service throughout their visit.
- Conduct safe and informative guided tours of the property, including basic cultural or historical interpretation.
- Ensure proper distribution and use of safety equipment such as life vests and paddles.
- Oversee beach and ocean activity areas; monitor safety and respond to concerns or emergencies.
- Set up, break down, clean, and maintain beach equipment and guest areas as needed.
- Communicate clearly with guests and team members to support efficient operations.
- Promote a positive image of Kualoa Ranch in all guest interactions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to guest service.
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude under varying conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must have strong swimming ability and comfort in ocean environments.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and transport up to 70 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors in hot, humid, rainy, or windy conditions.
- Frequent walking, standing, paddling, bending, lifting, and moving across sandy and uneven terrain.
- Ability to enter and exit watercraft (kayaks, canoes, etc.) and assist guests with the same.
- Manual labor including equipment setup, moving paddleboards/kayaks, and beach clean-up duties.
