Kuakini Geriatric Care, Inc. Description of Position
Responsible for planning, implementing, and facilitating the daily therapeutic recreational program for residents and clients of Kuakini Geriatric Care (KGC) including, but not limited to, individuals residing in the sub-acute unit, Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and Intermediate Care Facility (ICF). Maintains required records and documentation.
Qualifications and RequirementsHigh school diploma, or equivalent, required with a minimum of one (1) year experience working with the elderly. Additional study in health-related subjects, or a Bachelor's degree is recommended; or any combination of education and experience which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to meet the minimum qualifications to perform the essential functions of this position. Basic Life Support (BLS) Level A certification required, with retraining once every two (2) years.
