What are the responsibilities and job description for the Real Estate Lending Post Closing Clerk position at KTVAECU?
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Audit closed loan files for missing documentation, signatures, etc.
Responsible for obtaining post-closing Lenders Title Policies.
Responsible for receipt of Deed of Trust and Release of Lien from Register of Deeds office from each county.
Responsible for the completion of the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) reporting to Federal Reserve Board.
Contact the offices of attorneys or any other third party for remaining documentation.
Perform Government Monitoring on all mortgage files.
Answer telephone promptly and greet members courteously and professionally prior to transferring them to the appropriate person.
Perform back-up assistance on distribution of homeloans@tvacreditunion.com emails, online applications and referrals, as needed.
Cross-sell other lending products and Credit Union services.
Follow all Credit Union policies, procedures and regulations.
Represent the Credit Union in a professional manner (including but not limited to appearance, behavior and performance).
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Work cooperatively with others.
All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience – High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one or more years of clerical/administrative office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous title company experience preferred.
