Chinese-speaking TV News Production Assistant; Part-Time; On-Site
KTSF is seeking an on-site Television Production Assistant for Chinese-language weekend newscasts. Approximately 25 hr./week. The person needs to have an excellent command of Chinese and English; AA Degree or equivalent experience in Broadcast Communication preferred. Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills. Creative problem-solving under the pressure of a live newscast. The responsibilities include but are not limited to inputting information in ENPS rundown, producing news teases, logging and recording news sources, assist in monitoring total running time (TRT) during live broadcast; Have basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Adobe Premiere. The Production Assistant is responsible for ensuring the continuity of work flow and communications regarding the production of Cantonese and Mandarin language newscasts;
Salary range: $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
