Position Overview
We are hiring a full-time Freight Coordinator to help us grow our brokerage operations. This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, competitive, and solution-oriented—someone who doesn’t wait to be told what to do, but takes initiative and gets results.
Responsibilities
- Dispatch and coordinate freight to keep drivers consistently moving and profitable
- Build and source new freight opportunities and lanes, especially during slow periods
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and brokers to ensure smooth operations
- Solve problems quickly and keep shipments on track
- Optimize routes and scheduling for efficiency
- Use and adopt technology and AI tools to improve workflow and productivity
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and self-starter mentality
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Organized and able to handle a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with technology and open to learning AI tools
- Logistics/dispatching experience preferred, but not required for the right person
