Position: RN Medical Surgical
Location: Amarillo, TX 79106
Pay rate: $48/Hour on W2
Weekly Pay: $1,728/week – All Inclusive based on 36 hours
Shift: Day | 3×12 | 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Duration: 13 Weeks Travel Contract
Start Date: Nov 9, 2026
KTI Health is seeking an experienced RN Medical Surgical for a travel assignment in Amarillo, TX. Candidates must have at least one year of inpatient Medical-Surgical experience and recent Epic charting experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric Medical-Surgical patients
- Assess patient conditions and monitor changes in health status
- Administer medications and provide prescribed treatments
- Perform IV therapy, peripheral line care, and phlebotomy-related duties as required
- Follow isolation precautions and appropriate PPE protocols
- Provide respiratory care support, including nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management
- Document patient care accurately using the Epic system
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patient outcomes
- Float to units of equal or lower acuity as required
- Work weekends as scheduled
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of inpatient Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Recent Epic experience within the last 6 months
- Experience managing a patient ratio of approximately 1:6
- Candidates must live outside the 50-mile radius; local candidates are not accepted
Required Certifications & Licenses
- Must have a valid Texas or compact RN license in hand at submission
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
