Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Technical Architect with a strong background in eCommerce architecture. The ideal candidate will have expertise in microservices, cloud platforms, and full-stack Java development, along with experience leading technical teams and working with senior business and technology executives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, implement, and support eCommerce solutions (Commercetools, Oracle Web Commerce, Shopify Enterprise, etc.) to meet complex business needs.
- Address non-functional requirements (NFRs) such as performance, scalability, and disaster recovery (DR) across the technical stack.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, including application development, modernization, cloud migration, and data transformation.
- Conduct technical workshops with business and technical stakeholders to identify value-added services and implementation strategies.
- Identify and convert business opportunities into tangible projects and assignments.
- Lead enterprise-wide adoption of Generative AI initiatives for SDLC efficiencies or business outcomes.
- Travel as required to meet client needs (regional focus).
Required Skills & Experience:
- 15 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a technology consulting role focused on eCommerce platforms.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Microservices architecture (Spring Boot)
- Java Full Stack development
- Cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure) – GCP preferred
- Domain-Driven Design (DDD) solutions using C4 design methodology
- Containerization & orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Experience working with B2C and retail enterprises.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns and best practices for scalable and high-performance architectures.
- Previous work on Generative AI initiatives or relevant GenAI certification is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Commercetools, Oracle Web Commerce, Shopify Enterprise, or similar eCommerce platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud-native application development and API-first architectures.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile environments.
