Role-: Network / IT Support Technician

Location: Bakersfield, CA 93308 (Onsite)

Visa: Independent Candidate

Contract: Long Term

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle ServiceNow tickets and resolve network issues
  • Install, rack, stack, and cable network devices
  • Perform troubleshooting (switch ports, DNS, ping tests, hardware checks)
  • Support LAN, WiFi, IP Telephony, and telecom systems
  • Assist with equipment installation, removal, and maintenance
  • Provide on-site (smart hands) support for vendors and teams
  • Follow safety, compliance, and change management processes
  • Support cabling (fiber & copper) and network connectivity

Required Skills:

  • 4 years of network support experience
  • Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, and WiFi
  • Hands-on experience with cabling and hardware installation
  • Basic troubleshooting skills (network hardware)
  • Experience with telecom systems is a plus
