Role-: Network / IT Support Technician
Location: Bakersfield, CA 93308 (Onsite)
Visa: Independent Candidate
Contract: Long Term
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle ServiceNow tickets and resolve network issues
- Install, rack, stack, and cable network devices
- Perform troubleshooting (switch ports, DNS, ping tests, hardware checks)
- Support LAN, WiFi, IP Telephony, and telecom systems
- Assist with equipment installation, removal, and maintenance
- Provide on-site (smart hands) support for vendors and teams
- Follow safety, compliance, and change management processes
- Support cabling (fiber & copper) and network connectivity
Required Skills:
- 4 years of network support experience
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, and WiFi
- Hands-on experience with cabling and hardware installation
- Basic troubleshooting skills (network hardware)
- Experience with telecom systems is a plus
