Cloud Architect

Work mode and location: 4 days WFO and 1-day WFH—Cincinnati, OH

Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities

• Participate in the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction.
• Ability to independently assess, mitigate, and resolve customer-impacting incidents while maintaining clear communication
• Assist in the analysis, design, and development of a roadmap and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architectural viewpoint.
• Gather and analyze data and develop architectural requirements at the project level.
• Contribute to the designs and deployment of infrastructure solutions meeting standardization, consolidation, total cost of ownership, security, regulatory compliance, and application system qualities.
• Contribute to the designs and deployment of cloud infrastructure solutions for the Client’s business.
• Promote the company culture by encouraging open communication, teamwork and living of the Client’s Behaviours
• Provide necessary leadership for the business and IT team to ensure that initiatives and projects meet the strategic objectives.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience OR associate’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR high school diploma with a minimum of 7 years of professional experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience implementing cloud technologies
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Azure core services, including identity, compute, networking, storage, managed database services, and others
• Hands-on experience with Operating Systems such as Microsoft Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
• Understands technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction aligning with business goals.
• Familiar with elements of gathering architecture requirements.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
