Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HD Truck Parts Manager to lead our parts department with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the procurement, inventory management, and sales of heavy-duty truck parts, ensuring seamless operations that support our service and repair teams. Responsibilities

• Manage the entire lifecycle of truck parts inventory, including sourcing, purchasing, pricing, and demand planning to meet operational needs.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating pricing and terms to maximize value and ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee warehouse operations related to parts storage, shipping & receiving, and inventory control using inventory management systems such as ERP or AS400.
• Coordinate with automotive service teams to ensure availability of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts and accessories for repairs and maintenance.
• Utilize automotive diagnostics knowledge to assist in parts sourcing for complex vehicle systems and troubleshoot supply chain issues proactively.
• Monitor logistics and transportation processes to optimize shipping schedules, reduce costs, and improve delivery accuracy.
• Lead a team of parts specialists by providing training on inventory management systems, parts administration, and internal communication protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience in supply chain management within the automotive or trucking industry, with a focus on procurement management and supplier relations.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive parts, vehicle systems, and accessories; familiarity with OEM standards preferred.
• Hands-on warehouse experience including shipping & receiving, forklift operation certification, and warehouse management systems proficiency.
• Expertise in inventory management systems such as ERP or AS400; skilled in data entry and demand planning tools like CMMS or Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent negotiation skills coupled with a customer service-oriented mindset to foster positive supplier relationships.
• Ability to analyze automotive diagnostics data for effective parts sourcing and problem resolution.
• Effective internal communication skills for coordinating with sales teams, dealership personnel, auto body repair shops, and logistics partners.

Pay: $51,124.73 - $85,000.00 per year
