We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Car Hauler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting the vehicles from CA to GA safely and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, organization, and effective communication.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of vehicles, including automatic and manual trucks and cars.
- Load and unload vehicles from the trailer, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate records of pick ups and deliveries, including taking photos and obtaining necessary signatures on the bill of lading.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with dispatchers to update status.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS or maps while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
Skills
- Experience in moving or transporting vehicles is required.
- Proficient in driving commercial vehicles, including trucks and manual transmission vehicles.
- Familiarity with car hauling operations and logistics processes.
- Ability to operate hydraulic trailer safely is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required by the job demands.
