Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The Ideal candidate must have an EL01 Washington Journeyman Electrical License and a valid Idaho Journeyman License. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial and residential electrical work, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires expertise in handling various electrical systems, including high and low voltage installations, and proficiency with hand and power tools. The Electrician will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations meet safety standards and comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Work well with homeowners and building owners to provide the best customer service.
- Conduct troubleshooting on electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures.
- Perform renovations involving electrical work while adhering to safety regulations.
- Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure timely project completion.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks related to electrical installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrician in both commercial and industrial settings is preferred.
- 5-6 Years in the field is preferred
- Familiarity with low voltage systems, high voltage systems, and NEC regulations is essential.
- Strong understanding of electrical theory and principles of operation for various electrical components.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately.
- Experience in construction site environments is a plus, along with frame carpentry skills or maintenance person experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
