Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Architect with expertise in child support systems and modernized architecture. This role involves leading the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-level IT systems, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices. The position requires strong technical leadership, architectural expertise, and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. This is a hybrid role (40% onsite / 60% remote) open to Utah residents only.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level IT systems, meeting both functional and non-functional requirements.

Develop and maintain architectural documentation to support system modernization.

Serve as a technical leader and mentor for development teams, providing guidance on best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns.

Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Ensure solutions support scalability, performance, and maintainability standards.

Required Skills:

In-depth knowledge of current child support systems.

Strong understanding of child support system architecture or modernized architecture.

Proven experience in designing and developing enterprise IT systems.

Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship.

Experience conducting requirements analysis and translating business needs into technical solutions.

Nice To Have:

Experience working within government or public sector IT environments.

Familiarity with state-level compliance, policies, and regulations.

Strong communication and documentation skills.
