Looking for the candidates who can work without any visa sponsorship.

We are seeking an experienced DB2 Database Administrator (DBA) to support enterprise database environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in DB2 databases, along with experience in AIX/UNIX/Linux platforms and shell scripting. This role involves managing database performance, handling licensing, and ensuring system stability and security.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain DB2 database environments
Manage DB2 licensing (Passport Advantage) and ensure compliance
Monitor database performance, tuning, and optimization
Perform database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning
Write and maintain shell scripts for automation and maintenance tasks
Support AIX/UNIX/Linux systems related to DB2 operations
Troubleshoot database and system issues efficiently
Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams
Ensure data integrity, security, and availability

Required Qualifications:

8 years of experience with DB2 Databases
8 years of experience with DB2 Licensing / Passport Advantage
2 years of experience with AIX/UNIX/Linux platforms
2 years of experience in Shell scripting/programming

Preferred Qualifications:

5 years of experience with DB2 on AIX
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience in enterprise-level database environments

Soft Skills:

Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and reliability
