Duties (Brief description of the principal task involved):

Support facility with the management of recyclables (cardboard, Pallets, coolant, chips, ect.) and non-

recyclable waste such as chemicals, municipal trash, and process water.

Operators Chip/Coolant recycling equipment. Baler for cardboard and other

equipment as necessary to recycle water, coolant or chemicals. Safe operation of fork

truck/lift is required.

Maintains Waste management area, outgoing recycle materials such as chips,

cardboard, pallets. Also responsible for ensuring all non-recyclable materials are

stored properly, labels maintained to identify product and ensure there is no release

into the environment. Emergency Spill kits inside production areas.

Documentation: Completes required documentation as directed. Completion of

spill reports as necessary

Support: safe working activities during any chemical spill clean-up per the spill plan

requirements. Safe practices when moving and storing of chemical facility

maintenance, as well as facilities and equipment repair and maintenance.

Conduct Daily fork truck inspection, facilities inspections of drums and other

chemical containment.

Other duties maybe assigned in other areas of the plant as needed. Such as picking

up chips in the production area or returning scrap bins to the production area.

Responsible for assisting and maintaining facility to meet our Environmental

Management System requirements.

Responsible for following and understanding of facility Environmental Aspects, and supporting

Environmental Management Plan (EMP) goals and targets through training, engagement and

communication.
