- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and personalized experience.
- Register guests into the computer, verifying reservation, address, and credit information with accuracy and efficiency.
- Accept payment for guests' accounts both at the time of registration and at checkout, maintaining a thorough understanding of hotel policies and procedures.
- Maintain a house bank and make a deposit and accurate report of receipts daily, demonstrating strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Issue key to and control entrance of safety deposit boxes, upholding confidentiality and security standards.
- Post miscellaneous charges as requested, showcasing excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Assist concierge in handling mail and facsimiles and providing guest with information regarding hotel facilities and local attractions, promoting a sense of community and hospitality.
- Book reservations for those guests who approach the Front Desk, utilizing knowledge of hotel services and amenities to meet guests' needs.
- Greet guests and complete the registration process, including inputting and retrieving information from the computer, confirmation of guest information and room rate, selection of rooms, coding electronic keys, promoting marketing programs, providing a welcome packet, and ensuring guest knows location of room and/or has a bell person accompany him/her.
- Assist guests with check-out, ensuring rooms and services are correctly accounted, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, accepting and recording various forms of payment, converting foreign currency, making change, and processing gift certificates and cards.
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of hotel information, including room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, the local area, and other general product knowledge, answering guest questions and inquiries with confidence and poise.
- Field guest complaints, conduct research, and resolve and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction, upholding the highest standards of customer service.
- Carry out supervisor requests in accordance with hotel policies and standard operating procedures, striving for excellence in all aspects of job performance.
- Follow 4 Keys service standards, standard operation procedures, and safety standards, prioritizing guest safety and well-being.
- Adhere to attendance and reliability standards, maintaining a strong work ethic and commitment to teamwork.
