Finance Specialist

Job Description

The Finance Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity and operational efficiency of our transportation and warehousing business. As a Finance Specialist, you are responsible for ensuring smooth daily operation by processing orders, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting office workflow in the automotive collision repair industry.

Position Responsibilities:

• Review and process customer orders to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Reconcile purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies.
• Enter and process bills with a high degree of accuracy.
• Process refunds and address related customer or internal inquiries.
• Calculate and process daily deposits.
• Assist in transitioning the office to a paperless workflow by organizing and digitizing documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience with internal and financial audit processes.
• Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems used in transportation and warehousing sectors preferred.
• Previous administrative or office management experience preferred.
• Ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Basic computer proficiency.
• Moderate knowledge of Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong data entry skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and time-management abilities. 
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Fluency in English. Bilingual in Spanish is a huge plus.
