OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant professional with experience in controlling to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and hands-on experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems to manage financial processes efficiently. This role will support financial decision-making by providing accurate financial insights, ensuring compliance, improving financial performance, and implementing of S4HANA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists in preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Performs cost controlling and variance analysis to monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts
- Utilizes SAP (FI/CO modules preferred) for financial transactions, reporting, and data analysis
- Monitors cost centers, profit centers, and project costs to ensure accurate financial tracking
- Assists with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Supports internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and reports
- Ensures compliance with IFRS and GAAP, internal policies, and regulatory requirements
- Supports budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities in collaboration with finance leadership
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve financial visibility and operational efficiency
- Supports SAP system improvements, reporting enhancements, and financial data integrity
- Serves as a technical resource to the accounting staff, sharing knowledge and guidance without formal supervisory responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience (required)
- 4–6 years of experience in accounting or financial controlling
- Hands-on experience with SAP (FI/CO modules preferred)/or other ERP system
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cost accounting, and budgeting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Key competencies include: financial analysis and reporting, cost controlling and variance analysis, SAP/ERP financial systems expertise, budgeting and forecasting, process improvement and internal controls, cross-functional collaboration
- Experience (preferred)
- Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA
- Experience working in manufacturing, and corporate finance
- Knowledge of ERP reporting tools or BI tools (Power BI, BI, etc.)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Primarily desk-type duty
