SummaryThe Interior Designer II is responsible for the daily design document preparation of corporate, retail, municipal, institutional, and various other interior design projects. Secondary responsibilities include file management of project related drawings and assisting with the interior design process. Primary skills include extensive knowledge of REVIT and AutoCAD and the ability to read and understand construction plans. A deep understanding of commercial furniture selection, specification, and procurement documentation. Communication and visualization software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design), Microsoft Office and use of virtual meeting platforms. AccountabilityThe Interior Designer II is expected to operate as part of a team. They are directly accountable to a Project Manager and ultimately accountable to the Project Executive. The Project Manager and Project Executive may (or is expected to) vary by project. The Interior Designer II is required to maintain strong team relationships by working closely with each Project Manager during the design document preparation phase of the project.
