Position Overview:
KSA Entertainment is seeking part-time Studio Crew Members to join our production team. This position plays a key role in supporting daily television operations and assisting with live and pre-recorded studio productions. The ideal candidate is reliable, proactive, and thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Edit VOs, SOTs, and occasional PKGs for use in the show.
- Ensure all video elements meet technical broadcast standards.
- Prepare story-related assets that pair with scripts inside Rundown Creator.
- Build and organize all pre-show materials to support producers and the director
Live Playback Operation
- Operate playback during live-to-tape shows under direction from the control room.
- Fire VOs, SOTs, PKGs, bumps, and other assets on cue.
- Sync all video playback with show timing, scripts, and the director's commands.
- Troubleshoot playback issues quickly and calmly in real time.
Workflow & Collaboration
- Maintain organized file structures for all daily assets.
- Coordinate with producers and the director to ensure accuracy and readiness.
- Manage updates to last-minute changes smoothly within the weekly production schedule.
- Follow established naming conventions, delivery specs, and version control.
Qualifications:
- Prior studio or live production experience preferred but not required — training provided for the right candidate.
- Basic understanding of television or video production workflows.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under time pressure.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to take direction.
- Flexible availability for morning or occasional/rare weekend shifts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Special consideration to multi-lingual applicants (Spanish)
