Job Title: Fiber Optic Splicing Supervisor
Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 per year, DOE
Job Type: Full-Time
We’re seeking an experienced Fiber Optic Splicing Supervisor to lead splicing operations across aerial and underground projects. You’ll manage field crews, oversee fiber splicing and testing, ensure quality and safety standards, and coordinate with construction leadership and customers.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and mentor splicing crews, set daily production goals, and ensure targets are met.
- Perform complex fiber splicing, troubleshooting, and testing when needed.
- Review fiber plans, OTDR traces, and construction prints.
- Manage crew schedules, equipment, materials, and documentation.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and customer standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3–5 years of hands-on fiber splicing experience (OSP/ISP).
- Strong knowledge of OTDR, power meter testing, and splicing best practices.
- Leadership experience managing field crews or projects.
- Valid driver’s license; preferred certifications: FOA, ETA, OSHA 10/30.
