n Equipment Operator operates a variety of equipment including; tractor, scraper, forklift, bobcat, backhoe, excavator, frontend loader, side boom, semi-tractor with trailer etc.

ssential Job Functions

. Regular and reliable attendance. 2
. Prepared and on time for scheduled shift with proper PPE. 3
. Responsible for Daily Shift validations. 4
. Must possess a current and valid Driver License with clean driving record. 5
. Have appropriate certifications to operate the equipment being used. 6
. Preform and fill out pre-shift vehicle inspection before leaving the yard, check all fluids/tires/lights/ and all signs as listed on pre-shift. 7
. Gather appropriate job permits and ensure they are filled out correctly with correct signatures. 8
. Have appropriate licenses and certifications to operate the equipment being used. 9
. Follow and/or complete the Detailed Daily Work Plan and ensure crew actively participates, knows and follows each procedure. 1
0. Be aware of the dangers associated with hazardous atmospheres and hazards associated with using tools and equipment. Preform a job walk to identify all potential hazards around working area and take procedural actions to mitigate or eliminate if any found. 1
1. Participate in compliance and procedural safety audits. 1
2. Perform monthly tool audits on equipment and ensure compliance (vehicle registration/ fire extinguisher). 1
3. Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner, in addition load and unload material as needed for each job site. 1
4. Perform tasks assigned by Crew Lead or Supervisor. 1
5. Perform various duties like shoring boxes, digging and back filling various types of ditches and trenches. 1
6. Shoot elevations at eye level. 1
7. Test for H2S or oxygen deficient atmospheres and have knowledge on how to read a monitor. 1
8. Test the job site for immediate respiratory dangers and know how to read a monitor. 1
9. Develop knowledge of KSI SOPs and refer to the SOPs prior to each task. 2

ducation and Experience P
referably 1-2 years of industry experience along with knowledge of tools. P
orking Conditions: The locations vary from site to site. Work is physically demanding and requires the ability to concentrate well on the job at hand, in all types of weather. Majority of the work is construction-based work. Walking and working surface vary depending on the terrain, from flat to extreme slopes and frozen, wet, snowy and slippery conditions. W
orking Hours: Normally, a full-time employee will work 40 hours per week, depending on the factors such as weather and schedules. Work schedules and hours may vary depending on specific client locations and projects. In general, applicable work schedules include 5-10’s and weekends. All labor laws in reference to rest breaks and meal periods will be followed. N
