eneral Summary A

Crew Lead oversees the production and safety of a group of employees which may include but not limited to a welder, welder’s helper, crane operator and swamper. E

ssential Job Functions 1

. Regular and reliable attendance. 2
. Prepared and on time for scheduled shift with proper PPE. 3
. Responsible for Daily Shift validations. 4
. Must possess a current and valid Driver License with clean driving record. 5
. Preform and fill out pre-shift vehicle inspection before leaving the yard which includes knowing how to use the wench and PTO on A-frame and check all fluids/tires/lights/ and all signs as listed on pre-shift. 6
. Gather appropriate job permits from all crew members for each scheduled job and ensure that they have the correct information. 7
. Follow and/or complete the Detailed Daily Work Plan (DDWP) and ensure crew actively participates, knows and follows each procedure. 8
. Ensure the crew has the appropriate equipment, tools and supplies to complete the assigned task and have knowledge of all equipment. 9
. Perform monthly tool audit of all crew members and ensure compliance of equipment (vehicle registration/ fire extinguisher). 1
0. Be able to detect welding issues ahead of time to properly guide crew on corrections when needed. 1
1. Must complete specific KSI PLW Training, Site Specific Training and Lifeguard Training. 1
2. Perform Testing on sites and test the job site for immediate respiratory dangers and know how to read a monitor. 1
3. Understand and know the procedures to bolt-up and torquing in the field. 1
4. Be aware of the dangers associated with hazardous atmospheres and hazards associated with using tools and equipment. Preform a job walk to identify all potential hazards around working area and take procedural actions to mitigate or eliminate if any found. 1
5. Coach and mentor fellow crew members and actively involve the Behavioral Safety Process, observer/coach/Steering Team Rep and provide team building skills. 1
6. Develop a general knowledge of KSI PPM-SOPs and frequently refer to the SOP Manual. 1
7. Follow all KS Industries, LP safety, and customer policies and procedures. 1
8. Shall perform all physical and mental requirements listed.

ifting/Pulling/Jerking/Grasping/Raising/Lowering: Must be able to lift, grasp up to 50 lbs. with the use of fingers, palm and wrists to hold and/or manipulate objects (hammers, saws, pencils, pens etc.) Must be able to raise and lower objects from one level to another.

orking Conditions: The locations vary from site to site. Work is physically demanding and requires the ability to concentrate well on the job at hand, in all types of weather. Majority of the work is construction-based work. Walking and working surface vary depending on the terrain, from flat to extreme slopes and frozen, wet, snowy and slippery conditions.

orking Hours: Normally, a full-time employee will work 40 hours per week, depending on the factors such as weather and schedules. Work schedules and hours may vary depending on specific client locations and projects. In general, applicable work schedules include 5-8’s and 4-10’s. All labor laws in reference to rest breaks and meal periods will be followed. N
