Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lawn Maintenance Crew Member with at least two (2) years of lawn maintenance experience. The ideal candidate must have experience operating commercial zero-turn mowers, be dependable, and be able to work independently as well as with a team.
This position may require driving a company truck and trailer between job sites. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and maintain reliable transportation to and from work.
Individuals who demonstrate leadership, dependability, and a strong work ethic will have the opportunity to advance into a Crew Leader position.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial zero-turn mowers
- Mow residential and commercial properties
- Edge sidewalks, curbs, and driveways
- Weed eat around trees, fences, buildings, and landscaped areas
- Blow sidewalks, parking lots, and walkways
- Perform seasonal cleanups and debris removal
- Assist with mulch, pine straw, and landscape installation projects
- Load, unload, and care for company equipment
- Drive a company truck and trailer when assigned
- Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites
- Follow company policies and safety procedures
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of lawn maintenance experience
- Experience operating commercial zero-turn mowers
- Valid driver's license required
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to safely drive a truck and trailer, or willingness to be trained
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial lawn maintenance experience
- Experience pulling trailers
- Experience working with a lawn maintenance crew
- Leadership experience or desire to become a Crew Leader
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Schedule
- Sunday through Saturday as needed
- Early morning start times may be required
- Work schedule varies based on weather conditions, workload, and customer demand
- Hours are not guaranteed
