Associate Director of Engineering to provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple

What You’ll Do
• Define and execute the technical strategy and roadmap in alignment with business objectives
• Build, scale, and lead multiple engineering teams, including developing technical leads
• Drive architectural decisions and establish engineering standards across the organization
• Partner with executive leadership, product, sales, and customer success to shape product strategy
and ensure technical excellence
• Own planning, people allocation, and budget management for your engineering organization
• Champion engineering culture, innovation, and continuous improvement across teams
Key Skills
• Deep expertise with the ability to make sound architectural decisions for complex products
• Expert knowledge of object-oriented programming languages and modern web technologies
• Proven ability to scale engineering organizations, develop talent pipelines, and build high performing
teams
• Strategic thinker with demonstrated success in long-term planning and change management
• Executive-level communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite
• Strong business acumen with experience balancing technical excellence with commercial priorities
Typical Experience & Education
• 10 years in a professional software development management role
• Experience managing managers and leading organizations of 20 engineers
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline; advanced degree preferred or
equivalent years of experience
