Position Overview:
The Communications Consultant will serve as a key communications integrator, supporting executive-level messaging, client engagement, and strategic outreach. This role requires a professional who can translate complex information into clear, concise messaging for senior leaders and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will also manage and maintain the organization’s website and social media presence, ensuring consistent, strategic, and professional messaging across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine executive communications, including briefings, talking points, and strategic messaging
- Support client outreach efforts and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Translate complex operational or technical information into clear, audience-appropriate messaging
- Coordinate and synchronize communications across leadership, teams, and clients
- Draft, review, and edit high-quality written products for executive audiences
- Manage and update the organization’s website, ensuring content is current and aligned with strategic messaging
- Develop, schedule, and manage social media content to enhance visibility and engagement
- Support engagement strategies that strengthen client relationships and organizational alignment
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in executive communications, client engagement, or strategic communications
- Experience managing websites and social media platforms
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to tailor messaging for senior leaders and diverse audiences
- Experience working in fast-paced, stakeholder-driven environments
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting senior executives or government/military leadership
- Background in consulting, public affairs, or communications strategy
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and social media analytics tools
