Duties
- Prepare and serve food items efficiently while adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing sales, cash handling, and customer transactions
- Assist customers with their orders, upselling products to enhance their experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including kitchen equipment, counters, and dining areas
- Manage food service customer orders accurately using food handling best practices and ensuring timely delivery
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, supporting overall food preparation activities
- Process cash transactions accurately, handle cash register operations, and balance cash drawers at shift end
- Ensure compliance with food safety management standards and sanitation guidelines throughout all duties
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or fast-food environments with a focus on efficiency and quality
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales processing and cashiering tasks
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing register operations accurately
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Retail sales experience with an emphasis on upselling products to maximize sales opportunities
- Experience in food industry roles such as serving or food handling is highly desirable
