Kruse Financial Group – Dakota Dunes, SD

About Us

For nearly 40 years, Kruse Financial Group has helped families navigate every stage of life through honest advice, holistic planning, and trusted relationships. We believe financial planning is about more than numbers; it's about people.

Our mission is to bring clarity to your financial life through holistic planning, honest advice, and personal relationships.

Our vision is to walk beside clients through every stage of life, helping them build a legacy that reflects their values while enjoying today and preparing for tomorrow.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a full-time, in-office Client Service & Relationship Specialist to serve as a key member of our advisory team. This is a comprehensive, professional client service role, not a receptionist or basic administrative position.

This individual will manage all client communication, service requests, and ongoing relationship support across the full scope of our financial planning practice. The role requires the ability to work across multiple systems, understand a wide range of financial products, and support clients as they service and maintain the strategies within their financial plan.

You will work directly with clients to solve problems, coordinate service needs, and ensure their existing products and planning strategies remain accurate and up to date. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys learning complex systems, taking ownership of responsibilities, and growing into a long-term career in financial services.

Key Responsibilities

Comprehensive Client Service & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client communications
  • Manage all incoming calls, emails, and correspondence with professionalism and care
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and follow-up
  • Act as a trusted resource for clients with questions about their existing products and services

Client Requests & Financial Product Servicing

  • Manage and process service requests across all financial products and services offered by the firm, including:
  • Life insurance and annuities
  • Investment and advisory-related service items
  • Beneficiary, ownership, address, and bank changes
  • Policy and account maintenance
  • Work directly with clients to resolve issues and service needs related to their financial plans
  • Track service items to completion and ensure timely, accurate execution
  • Maintain precise client records across multiple systems and platforms

Systems, Process & Coordination

  • Work across multiple internal systems, carrier platforms, and planning tools
  • Understand how client products and services fit within their overall financial plan
  • Coordinate with advisors and internal team members to ensure seamless service
  • Identify gaps, errors, or updates needed and take initiative to resolve them

Client Experience & Front Office Presence

  • Greet clients and create a welcoming, professional office environment
  • Ensure every client interaction reflects our commitment to trust, clarity, and care
  • Maintain organization and professionalism in all client-facing areas

Growth, Licensing & Professional Development

  • Obtain Life & Health Insurance licensing to become a licensed service assistant within the first year of employment
  • Preferred path toward obtaining securities licensing and Registered Service Assistant
  • Develop a working knowledge of all financial products and services offered by the firm
  • Participate in ongoing training and continuous learning

This Role Is Not

  • A receptionist-only position
  • A basic office administration role
  • A narrowly defined, task-only job

This role requires ownership, critical thinking, product knowledge, and the ability to navigate complex systems while delivering a high-touch client experience.

What We Are Looking For

  • A self-starter who takes initiative and works well independently
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Comfortable learning and working within complex systems and financial products
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High integrity and respect for confidentiality
  • Professional demeanor and client-first mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in financial services, insurance, banking, or a professional advisory environment
  • Familiarity with CRM systems or financial platforms
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience
  • Willingness to pursue insurance and securities licensing

What We Offer

  • Full-time, in-person position
  • Office hours: Monday–Thursday 8:00–5:00 with one-hour lunch; Friday 8:00–3:00
  • Established firm with nearly 40 years of history
  • Supportive, collaborative, family-oriented culture
  • Clear path for professional growth and licensing
  • Opportunity to build a long-term career in financial services
  • Meaningful work supporting clients and families through all stages of life
