- Resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and computer relative to production work orders.
- Audits product loads being moved off the production floor for accuracy of material part number identification and counts.
- Audit the jobs running on the shop floor in thermoforming, and secondary for paperwork accuracy. Coaches new Operators/Lead Finishers in use of paperwork.
- Recommend process improvements to more effectively manage shop order completion and inventory. Good basic math skills and organizational skills required.
- Must be able to work with a diverse group of departments and people.
- Accurate data entry of the following: Product receipts; Labor; Sheeting and component issues; Regrind Shipments; Hardware receipts; and Sheet receipts
- Must be able to be trained on PC applications for various MRP software systems as part of fulfilling day-to-day inventory and production responsibilities.
- Arrange in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedule requirements.
- Monitor in-process work orders to verify finished product matches labor posting and materials issued and remaining production order quantity.
- Reconcile production work order to match both finished goods received, materials issued, and materials remaining at the completion of the shop order.
- Assist Thermoforming Supervisor training personnel on production shop floor management paperwork.
- Provide support to production and warehouse personnel to resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Perform cycle count audits of finished goods and components on the production floor and in the warehouse.
- Must be able to work assigned overtime to cover the functions of this position as assigned.
- Enter all material transfer information for work orders, scrap reporting, component and finished goods transfers, and component issues.
- Assist Engineers and J & F as required related to handling material / system transactions.
- Be able to set up and operate label making machine.
- Perform all duties within regulatory requirements and company policies & procedures.
- Perform other job duties and assignments as requested or as business needs require.
High school or equivalent education required. Minimum of three years of similar work experience. Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with other departments. Ability to prioritize, organize and manage multiple projects.
Proven and demonstrated communication skills. Successful interactions in a cross functional team environment. Basic computer skills required along with the ability to learn, retain, and become proficient in the chosen MRP software.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents written in English.
