SUMMARY
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Industrial Maintenance Youth Apprentice to join our team. This paid apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity for high school students interested in developing technical skills in manufacturing maintenance. You will gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced technicians, supporting equipment upkeep, troubleshooting, and repairs across our manufacturing floor. This role is ideal for those eager to build a foundation in industrial maintenance and engineering troubleshooting within a vibrant production setting.

There is a dire need for Maintenance Technicians today and that need is only growing! As an experienced Maintenance Technician, you could easily earn over $80,000/year!

DUTIES

• Assist with routine maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Support troubleshooting efforts using schematics, electrical blueprints, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters
• Help perform equipment repairs, including welding ( welding), electrical system diagnostics, and hydraulic or pneumatic system troubleshooting
• Learn to operate field service tools like scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely and effectively
• Participate in safety inspections, preventative maintenance programs, and documentation of work performed using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Collaborate with team members on electrical diagnostics, equipment troubleshooting, and repair projects to ensure minimal downtime
• Gain exposure to industrial electrician practices, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, high voltage safety procedures, and electrical blueprint reading

• maintain and repair pneumatic system components
• assist installation and qualification of equipment
• fabricate metal
