Essential Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Load, unload, and transport raw materials, finished products, and shop supplies throughout the facility.
- Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies and report any issues.
- Label, organize, and store inventory in designated locations.
- Deliver materials to production departments as needed.
- Assist with loading completed projects for shipment or delivery.
- Maintain accurate receiving records and assist with inventory control.
- Keep receiving, storage, and work areas clean and organized.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
- Perform other warehouse and shop support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to read packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documents.
- Basic computer skills for receiving and inventory tracking.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Bend, kneel, climb, and reach throughout the workday.
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Work in an active manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
