Earn $2,668/week (gross) as a Travel Med/Surg / Telemetry RN working night shift in West Burlington, IA. This 13-week assignment supports both Medical-Surgical and Telemetry (ACU) units, caring for adult and geriatric patients with a variety of acute medical conditions.

Contract Snapshot:
- Location: West Burlington, IA (52655)
- Schedule: 3x12 Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Hours: 36 hours/week (overtime possible)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Dates: December 22, 2025 or January 12, 2026
- Floating: Required, including ED if patients are boarded
- Charting: Cerner
- Weekends: Every other weekend
Weekly Pay:
- Estimated Weekly Gross: $2,668
- Taxable Rate: $39.50/hour
- Tax-Free Stipends: $1,246/week (lodging and meals if eligible)
Additional Pay
- Overtime (40 hours): $59.25/hour
- Holiday Pay: $59.25/hour
- On-Call Rate: $3.00/hour

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on Med/Surg and Telemetry units
- Monitor telemetry patients and respond to rhythm changes appropriately
- Administer medications, perform assessments, and document care accurately
- Float to non-critical care inpatient units as needed
- Float to the Emergency Department when inpatient boarding occurs
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and professional nursing standards
Patient Population:
- Adult and geriatric medical-surgical patients
- Telemetry patients requiring cardiac monitoring
- Occasional exposure to higher-acuity patients when floating
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Compact or Iowa)
- BLS and ACLS required
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience
- Ability to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia exam
- Travel experience preferred but not required
- Requested time off must be submitted at time of application
Telemetry Requirement:
Travelers must self-study telemetry strips upon acceptance and pass a Basic Dysrhythmia exam during the first week to work the Telemetry/Med/Surg unit.
