Main duties and responsibilities
The purpose of this position is to work closely with the Product Development and Sales teams on the development and lifecycle process of laminate flooring to meet customer needs.
- Set up and manage market intelligence database that includes competitive pricing,
market information.
- Work cross functionally for process improvements and other initiatives such as
- Work closely with the operations team to make sure item launches run smoothly.
- Responsible for label creation and maintenance.
- Responsible for KSoft item creation and maintenance as well as ownership of item
- Participate in and review all first-article production runs, assuring compliance with
- Compile market comparisons of flooring quality and analyze risks.
- Handle daily inquiries from internal departments regarding product issues
- Maintain product data on customer web pages including product descriptions,
- Coordinate all sampling for customer meetings, product planning and execution.
- Excellent attendance record.
- Team player and have the ability to work and interact with all levels throughout the organization
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Display original thinking and creativity through resourcefulness, suggestions and problem solving
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
- Possess market research and competitive data analysis skills
- Demonstrated high energy level, strong work ethic, and positive approach to problem solving.

- Professional demeanor with excellent written, oral communication & listening skills
- Ability to understand advanced manufacturing concepts
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a forest products related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Must be proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with the ability to learn additional specialty external systems as necessary.
