This role focuses on the design and integration of aircraft interior and cargo systems, the parts of the airplane passengers see and the systems that support cabin safety, cargo handling, and overall aircraft functionality.You’ll work across the full product lifecycle, from early design and customer configuration through production support and certification. This is a hands-on engineering role that blends design work, collaboration with suppliers, and real-world problem solving in a fast-paced environment.What You’ll DoHelp develop and document structural and interior payload system requirementsCreate and modify 3D CAD designs for interior and payload componentsSupport testing and verification to ensure designs meet requirements and regulationsWork closely with manufacturing, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teamsAssist with supplier coordination, design improvements, and production supportSupport certification activities and compliance documentationContribute to investigating new technologies and design concepts for future productsBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil, Aeronautical, or Materials)2 years of experience in aerospace engineering or designFamiliarity with engineering design standards and release processesPreferred QualificationsExperience with aircraft interiors, payloads, or cargo systemsBasic understanding of FAA Part 25 or equivalent regulationsExperience working with aerospace suppliers or production environmentsExposure to design for manufacturingStrong problem-solving and critical thinking skillsComfortable working in cross-functional teamsClear communication skills, both written and verbalInterest in continuous learning and professional growthCompany DescriptionKronos always provides our partners with 100% customer satisfaction and on time delivery.
