We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a team focused on developing secure, mission-critical computing solutions for aerospace and commercial applications. You will work within a collaborative integrated product team alongside software and hardware engineers to design, build, integrate, and validate complex system-level software.
This role requires strong technical ownership, the ability to work independently, and experience developing software that interacts closely with hardware and system components.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and integrate complex software components into fully functional systems
- Develop and execute software verification plans, test procedures, and validation environments
- Analyze test results and ensure software meets defined system requirements
- Build and maintain Windows-based installers for applications, services, and system-level components
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including software and hardware (VLSI) engineers
- Perform software performance analysis and debugging across integrated systems
- Contribute to mission-critical software used in secure computing platforms
- Use scripting and automation tools to support development, testing, and deployment workflows
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field with 9 years of experience, OR
Master’s degree with 7 years of experience - Experience developing Windows installers, including installers for:
- Applications
- Windows services
- Drivers or system-level software
- Proficiency in Python scripting
- Experience with software performance analysis and debugging
- Familiarity with source control systems and bug tracking tools
- Strong experience working with complex, integrated software systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing in C# and/or C
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Background in system-level software or hardware-adjacent development
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams
