Safety Specialist

We are seeking a Safety Training Coordinator to support workplace safety initiatives through employee training, facility inspections, and compliance activities. This role will help promote a strong safety culture by developing training materials, delivering safety programs, identifying workplace hazards, and supporting continuous improvement efforts.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in safety, training, manufacturing, or compliance who enjoys working with employees and improving workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees
• Conduct safety orientations and training sessions on workplace procedures, hazard prevention, and safe work practices
• Create and distribute safety communications, guides, and educational materials
• Perform facility inspections to identify potential hazards and unsafe conditions
• Recommend corrective actions and safety improvements
• Support compliance with company safety policies and applicable regulations
• Maintain safety documentation and training records
• Assist with safety improvement initiatives and employee engagement programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Health, or a related field preferred
• 0–2 years of experience in safety, training, compliance, or a related role
• Knowledge of workplace safety concepts, procedures, and best practices
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present and train groups
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures

Preferred Experience

• Workplace safety inspections
• Employee safety training or presentations
• OSHA or regulatory compliance knowledge
• Manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, warehouse, or similar environment experience
