What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Coordinator position at Krones, Inc?

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for all internal phases of equipment overhaul implementation & overhaul contracts. Continuous focus on exceptional customer satisfaction throughout the entire project. Carry out multiple projects with changing priorities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Overhauls:

  • Daily review of LCS sales opportunities in CRM for time & material overhaul project requirements.
  • Create all project charters & documents for tracking.
  • Request OSAT files to Krones AG or PDF machine manuals to Krones, Inc. (as applicable).
  • Create all service orders for audits/overhauls.
  • Provide support to service technicians with digital software to conduct machine audits.
  • Provide OSAT guidance & troubleshooting to field technicians during the audit.
  • Review completed OSATS & create SAP parts quotations from each machine OSAT file.
  • Collaborate with E2E Project Manager for the customer PO.
  • Create SAP sales orders according to clarified project milestone dates.
  • Quality check all parts order entry.
  • Follow-up & maintain communication with LCS Order Management & E2E Project Managers.
  • Coordinate parts delivery dates with LCS Order Management & all stakeholders.
  • Create & distribute shipping details information to E2E Project Managers & service technicians or onsite lead.
  • Attend weekly overhaul meeting with assigned Materials Management counterpart (as needed).
  • Provide timely & accurate responses to project stakeholder inquiries & project changes.
  • Enter SAP quotes & orders during overhauls in conjunction with onsite execution team & provide tracking.
  • Monitor & track all rush shipments entered during the onsite overhaul.
  • Process parts reclamations or returns as needed from onsite service technicians or E2E Project Managers.
  • Coordinate internal calls, meetings, & communications between stakeholders & project team throughout the project implementation phase.
  • Review project implementation for potential process improvements.
  • Understand & execute international customer specific topics including, but not limited to, hazmat materials protocol, incoterms, SAP shipping conditions, logistics, customs clearance process, proforma creation, & commercial invoices.

Other Duties:

  • Carry out work according to established ISO & company safety procedures.
  • Distribute sales brochures (as needed).
  • Attend required trainings.
  • Continual upskilling on new Krones technologies & customer offerings.
  • Conduct one-on-one training of new hires.
  • Write & revise work instructions.
  • Follow company policies.
  • Work overtime as volume dictates.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • A two-year technical degree or equivalent experience is required.

Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities:

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as an elevated level of interpersonal skills for internal and external customer interaction.
  • Must have previous project coordination experience in some capacity (minimum 1 year).
  • Must be able to work in a high volume, intense work environment while consistently working to meet or exceed deadlines and maintaining a personal sense of urgency during projects.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities:

  • Technical understanding of Krones product lines or related experience desired.
  • Software skills desired:
  • SAP – Intermediate to advanced level
  • CRM (Customer relationship management)
  • Microsoft Excel – Intermediate to advanced level
  • Microsoft Outlook – Intermediate to advanced level
  • Microsoft Word – Beginning to mid-level
  • SharePoint – Beginning to mid-level
  • OSAT Software (Onsite Assessment Tool – proprietary Krones software)

This is a hybrid position (3 days remote and 2 days on-site per week), but the individual in this role will need to work and train 100% on-site for an estimated timeline of the first 6 months. The on-site training period is based on the individual and how long it takes them to learn our processes and work more independently. With this being said, there is a chance that the on-site training could last more or less than 6 months before moving to the hybrid work schedule, and it is at the manager's discretion.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
