What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder/Fabricator - TIG position at Krones and Careers?
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding duties using tig welder, wire welder, spot welder, and/or oxy/acetylene torch
- Clean and dress welds as required
- Set up and lay out work using jigs/fixtures or hand layouts to fabricate parts and/or rework finished products
- Manual machine setup and operation of drill press, welding machines, pneumatic tools and/or grinders required to process fabricated parts and assemblies
- Crosstrain and perform other tasks in addition to the primary assigned position as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of welding experience
- Some knowledge of the metric system and basic hand tools
- Ability to read blueprints and follow written instructions
- Basic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced education or apprenticeship
- Tig welding experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
