Overview
We are seeking an experienced Bartender to join our dynamic team in a vibrant restaurant and nightlife environment. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in supporting the restaurant and ensuring that the bar operates smoothly. Responsibilities
- Drink preparation and service to ensure timely delivery of beverages to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste.
- Stock and replenish bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice as needed.
- Support food service operations by assisting with food order taking, running food,and bussing tables when necessary.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) system: Sqaure POS
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing their needs promptly.
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations while maintaining high standards of hygiene.
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests during events such as banquets or catering services.
Requirements
- Must have or be able to obtain a OKlahoma ABLE Commision Server License.
- Previous experience in bartending is required. Experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is plus. Particularly in bar or restaurant environments.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and experience in kitchen operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures and maintenance of bar equipment.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.
