Diesel Mechanic

Krone diesel is a small but growing family owned diesel repair shop and towing company in rock springs Wyoming. Willing to help with relocation assistance for the right candidat.

looking for an experienced mechanic who has confidence in troubleshooting and repairing semis/ trailers. You will be responsible for a fleet of trucks will need to work afternoon/evening shift ranging between 12 pm - 12 am. Can adjust and be flexible for the right candidat. M-f with occasional Saturdays. if we have trucks running and one breaks down you will be expected to go on a service call and fix it

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with diesel engines and systems
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on diesel vehicles
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as brakes, transmissions, and fuel systems
- Utilize heavyduty diagnostics tools to identify and resolve issues
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed for repairs
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of diesel engines
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot semi and trailer electrical systems
- Capability to fabricate or modify parts using appropriate tools and equipment
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance schedules and procedures
- Proficiency in using power tools for repairs and installations
