Nanny / Caregiver

Start Date: May 19

Schedule: Tuesday–Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation: $18–$25 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable, patient, and nurturing nanny for a long-term, part-time position caring for our two young children (18 months and almost 4 years old). The ideal candidate is attentive, energetic, and comfortable managing the needs of active toddlers and preschool-aged children.

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive care and supervision for two children
• Engage children in age-appropriate play and activities
• Assist with light household duties related to the children (e.g., tidying toys, cleaning up after meals)
• Transport children to occasional activities
• Provide occasional preschool pick-up for our 4-year-old (starting in the fall)

Child-Specific Needs:

• Our 4-year-old has a speech delay; patience and strong communication support skills are important
• Our 18-month-old is very active and curious, requiring close supervision

Additional Information:

• One parent works from home
• We have a friendly 5-year-old Great Pyrenees dog in the home

Qualifications:

• Prior childcare experience with toddlers and/or preschool-aged children
• Patient, dependable, and attentive
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Comfortable around large dogs

Preferred Qualities:

• Experience with speech delays or early childhood development is a plus
• Energetic and proactive in engaging children
