Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential areas, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning to ensure a spotless environment.
• Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
• Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing.
• Use manual handling techniques safely to lift, move, or transport heavy items such as furniture or cleaning supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to keep surfaces immaculate.
• Manage outdoor work responsibilities like patio or garden cleaning when required.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and provide exceptional customer service.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Support housekeeping management with inventory control of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or janitorial roles with a focus on sanitation and surface care.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures including floor care, carpet cleaning, dusting, and surface sanitation.
• Familiarity with various cleaning detergents, tools, and equipment used in housekeeping tasks.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with precision.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within scheduled shifts.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with residents or clients.
• Outdoor work experience is a plus for handling exterior cleaning duties or garden maintenance.
• Previous housekeeping management or supervisory experience is desirable but not mandatory.

Pay: $22.49 - $27.08 per hour
