Upholstery Frame Technician

Kroehler Furniture is hiring an experience Upholstery Frame Technician at our Conover plant.

Basic Function : Reading blueprints and using a variety of small tools in order to build frames. Frames are constructed according to specifications by adding to frames or cutting down to measurements. Assembling parts to specifications of print.

Essential Functions :

• Lifting requirements > 50lbs.
• Work with Frame Engineer to document information and update changes to system which reflect the change.
• Accommodate frame needs as the product moves through the build, shipping, and testing process.
• Cut components and assemble all frames needed .
• Assure materials are ordered and available when needed.
• Practice safe work habits and observe plant safety rules.
• Compile and maintain notes for each model developed.
• Assume other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
